New 2024 Kia Rio Release Date, Interior Colors – The 2024 Kia Rio has been spotted undergoing new tests under the codename “Facelifted.” The fourth generation of this South Korean supermini car was reintroduced in October 2016 at the Paris Motor Show, so it makes sense that Kia has begun testing for a mid-cycle refresh. This is expected to occur either toward the end of the year or early 2024.

It is unlikely that a small hatchback like the 2024 Kia Rio will undergo significant changes, so don’t let the camouflage deceive you into thinking that this is an all-new car with a completely different design. Replacing the front and rear doors for a facelift could be costly, so we believe that the disguises on the vehicle are purely cosmetic. We anticipate the typical changes associated with a facelift, such as slightly redesigned bumpers, and adjustments to the front and rear lighting.
Exterior and Interior
They appear to have different patterns from what is visible in the front lights, 2024 Kia Rio. The square-shaped LED DRLs are present. The visible section is next to the LED is designed differently than the current light fixture system. However, it is impossible to discern the surrounding area’s design, and the fog light underneath the lamp appears to be in the same position as before.
With the amount of facade present on this vehicle, we have likely seen a completely different front fascia design. The same is probably true of the rear. While the Picanto is preparing for a revamp, its sibling model from Hyundai is set to enter its third generation. The upcoming i20 was spotted last December and is set to debut in 2020. The hot i20 N is the Rio GT that Kia is unlikely to produce. The new model will be equipped with the current 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine and a CVT (replacing the six-speed automatic) that improved the Rio’s fuel economy from 32 MPG combined to 36 MPG combined in both the hatchback and sedan versions.

With the new Soul already on the market and the hot Seltos following closely behind, the 2024 Kia Rio faces significant competition from other Kia models. While sportier styling could help, we expect the subcompact car to continue to appeal to drivers who prioritize affordability.
