New 2024 Kia Stinger Interior Colors, Release – There is a lot to appreciate about the Kia Stinger, but the automaker is dissatisfied with how this model is perceived as merely a reasonably decent performance sedan. Consequently, the company is currently weighing the decision to offer a second-generation model. Fortunately, the forthcoming 2024 Kia Stinger will not feature significant upgrades from the previous iteration.
“We’re not sure it went as we had hoped,” shared Gregory Geum, chief designer at Kia’s German design studio, regarding automobile sales in Melbourne. According to Guillaume, the brand needs to be patient with the 2024 Kia Stinger. As the public remains unfamiliar with the notion of a Kia sedan with performance capabilities, the company will need to wait at least one more generation before deciding whether to continue in this segment.
Exterior and Interior
While the Kia Stinger’s appearance is stunning and its specifications are impressive, the vehicle’s initial reception was somewhat perplexing due to its four green rear doors. Aside from its sports performance, the 2024 Kia Stinger has also garnered acclaim for its numerous ergonomic features.
Even better, Kia has upped the ante with the Stinger’s latest iteration. The automaker has replaced the standard 7-inch Stinger touchscreen with an 8-inch infotainment system. Additionally, there is an optional new 10.25-inch display that can simultaneously connect two devices via Bluetooth.
Kia has been on a luxury spree and is now a formidable player in this segment. This South Korean automaker recently entered the sports sedan market with the 2024 Kia Stinger. While the 2023 edition has already given us plenty to talk about, the forthcoming 2024 Stinger promises even more excitement.
However, the new Stinger has also caused some confusion. Initially, Kia announced that this year’s version of the sedan would remain unchanged until 2023. However, in a recent statement, Kia made no mention of the new Stinger model year or any changes to the engine or exterior. We are still awaiting additional information from Kia regarding the new version’s arrival in US dealerships.
We initially believed that this year’s 2024 Kia Stinger was a bona fide sports car, thanks to its lineup of potent engines. The GT-Line base model comes equipped with a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine that delivers 255 horsepower, while the top-tier models are powered by a 3.3-liter 6-cylinder turbo engine that generates 365 horsepower.
Kia will be introducing a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that delivers 300 horsepower, exclusively for the North American market by 2024. We wouldn’t be surprised if Kia does away with the base engine and opts for this new engine as it appears to bridge the gap between the other two. Every 2024 Kia Stinger will be outfitted with an eight-speed automatic transmission, the only consistent feature among them.
2024 Kia Stinger Release Date and Price
Aside from the initial $220.99 fee that covers the first service, including an oil change, wheel balancing, and rotation, the subsequent routine maintenance costs seem much more reasonable at $55.23. In addition to the guaranteed services, such as high valves for the driver’s seats, a curved brake rotor, and a complimentary flatbed, we only need $38.000 to keep the 2024 Kia Stinger running for a year.
