However, we are now here with the latest 2024 version, which we recently discovered will be the final model ever sold in America. Therefore, what we wanted to do was take a final look at this midsize Lexus sedan and bid it a farewell after four generations.

For those of you who don’t recall, the 2024 Lexus GX was the Lexus that initiated it all, so to speak, in terms of the brand-new design language. This was the first Lexus to receive the now-famous and yet somewhat controversial spindle grille. However, in 2013, it was a concern, so, of course, this is as substantial as ever. We believe it was more significant a bit bigger back in its 2016 refresh; on the F-Sport, up to your headlights, they have also been controversial with that swoop design.
Exterior and Interior
When discussing the cabin of the 2024 Lexus GX, it is meticulously detailed in every aspect of the interior. However, we can say that the vast majority of the models will come equipped with premium leather seating. This vehicle comes with the most popular interior color, which is the Rioja Red, a dark, attractive shade of red with some black accents, and it looks stunning.

Ahead of it, we have aluminum accents in this F-Sport model, and then all windows are going to be one-touch auto. As far as these seats go, they do adjust in every way you can imagine since you have a power thigh extension in the 2024 Lexus GX. They even have power-adjustable bolsters as well, and the leather quality is exceptional.

Back in the day, it was one of our earliest models, one of our earliest reviews, and we never got the chance to drive it. Now, this is a new experience for this farewell to the 2024 Lexus GX. But we must say, it feels incredibly sturdy, and we love it. Of course, it is a naturally aspirated V6 engine, three and a half liters producing 311 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque.
All the other versions over time have been discontinued. There used to be a hybrid model that has been gone for a couple of years. The four-cylinder one also no longer exists, so you are just left with this three and a half-liter V6, take it or leave it. We are not complaining, though, as far as sound enhancement goes.
We love the sound of it; it doesn’t sound like other Lexus three and a half-liter V6 engines. We want to talk about another aspect that has aged beautifully, and that is going to be this ten-speed automatic transmission. If you opt for the rear-wheel-drive, it will get you 20 city, 28 highway, 23 combined. If you go for the F-Sport with rear-wheel drive, it’s 22 so you have 21 22 or 23 depending on which trim level. If you go for all-wheel drive, it will be reduced by two mpg, 22 combined, and actually.

If you want to go for the F-Sport, that’s not going to come at too much of a premium, at only $61,000, and those are for the rear-wheel-drive version. The pricing for this 2024 Lexus GX starts at $57,000 for the base model.
